This time I build a cheap 3d Camera.

I use this angel bracket and I dilled 2 holes in it

I bought this 2 cheap Hd Cams for 20Euros on ebay

Then simply screw all together, "et voila", a 3d Camera system.

Building a Microphone Wind Screen

 A piece of foam material
A piece of fake fur. The longer the hairs the better it will work
Formed a tube shape an glued together with hot glue
Put it over my stage line microphone. It works perfect, no more wind-noise.

The installed motor for my vibrating DOF adapter

The installed pancake motor. It's fixed with hot glue and connected to the external controller box

Friday, July 16, 2010

Finally, a pancake motor for my 35mm adapter

I found an old Motorola pager in the trash and I took the vibrating motor out
Now my static DOF adapter will shortly be a vibrating DOF adapter

My Rod Support

I used two aluminium tubes with 12mm diameter and +- 50cm length

tube clamps

I fixed the tube clamps on a PVC board but you could use wood too.
The hole on the left is for fixing the camera

The same PVC board from the other side

Slide the two tubes in the tube clamps and fix them

A smaller PVC board with a 6mm hole to fix the tripod

Fix the second board upside down on the tubes

This screw came from a small 3$ table tripod

Fixing the cam
Between the tube clamps I used 8mm nuts to set the pvc board higher and to set the cam in line with my 35mm adapter

The mounting plate from the tripod

The cam on my rod support.
Now I can connect the 35mm adapter without problems. It's stable and no chance to damage the camera
